Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent
Transportation/Traffic Engineer to join our team. This is an
exciting opportunity to work on a variety of transportation
projects, focusing on traffic safety analysis and transportation
engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for designing,
planning, and overseeing transportation projects, ensuring
adherence to safety standards and regulations. This position
requires a strong understanding of transportation engineering
principles, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for
improving transportation safety. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct
comprehensive traffic safety analysis and studies related to
transportation projects. 2. Design, develop, and implement
transportation engineering solutions to enhance traffic safety and
efficiency. 3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop
project specifications, schedules, and budgets. 4. Prepare
technical reports, proposals, and presentations to communicate
findings and recommendations. 5. Review and approve transportation
plans, designs, and specifications to ensure compliance with safety
regulations and standards. 6. Monitor and evaluate traffic
patterns, road conditions, and other factors affecting
transportation safety. 7. Provide expert advice and consultation on
traffic safety measures, transportation engineering solutions, and
project management. 8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in
transportation engineering and traffic safety and incorporate them
into project plans. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Civil
Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. A
Master's degree is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience
in transportation engineering, with a focus on traffic safety
analysis. 3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. 4.
Proficient in using traffic modeling software and other relevant
engineering tools. 5. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and
project management skills. 6. Strong knowledge of traffic safety
regulations, standards, and best practices. 7. Excellent
communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain
complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 8. Ability to work
effectively in a team-oriented environment, as well as
independently. 9. Demonstrated commitment to enhancing
transportation safety and efficiency. 10. Ability to manage
multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 11.
Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, and other design software is a plus.
