This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who is passionate about electrical systems, has an eye for detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in our manufacturing facility. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including working on electrical controls, schematics, VFD, motors, pneumatics, AC/DC, wiring, and conveyors. Responsibilities: Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems, including predictive and preventive measures, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including electrical controls, schematics, VFD, motors, pneumatics, AC/DC, wiring, and conveyors. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components. Read blueprints or technical diagrams before performing work to ensure accuracy and safety. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify potential electrical problems and suggest viable solutions. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and the industry. Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician in the Engineering industry. Proven experience with electrical troubleshooting, electrical controls, schematics, VFD, motors, pneumatics, AC/DC, wiring, and conveyors. In-depth knowledge of various testing devices such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, and voltmeters. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics. Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Strong understanding of electrical theory and the associated principles and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A valid electrician license or certification would be advantageous. Physically capable of performing the duties of the role, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
