Job Description:
Pay Range: $80,000 to $100,000 per yearESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS:Direct and supervise shift maintenance for all
refrigeration, electrical, boiler and waste water treatment
facilities at Cherry.Prepare work schedules and mechanic duty
assignments as required to support the total maintenance program
and the requirements of PSM/RMP, Cal/ARP, Production and USDA
personnel.Perform frequent on-the-job inspections to ensure team
member's -safe working habits, safe work areas, high quality
workmanship and effectiveness of maintenance and repairs.Evaluate,
prioritize and schedule maintenance repair requests to ensure
timely completion of all repair actions.Accurately estimate
materials and manpower costs for job orders and project
requests.Routinely inspect equipment -for needed repairs and
maintenance. Prepare maintenance repair requests.Proved technical
assistance to assigned personnel in the following areas: proper
operation of equipment, proper use of maintenance
manuals/schematics, efficient troubleshooting and proper
maintenance/repair of equipment.Coordinate the site-specific
training and implementation of emergency response teams within
Foster Farms and with local Hazardous Materials
Responders.Coordinates with -project engineers in the technical
design review of new projects and equipment to ensure appropriate
controls are in place as it pertains to PSM or RMP regulated
chemicals.Leads Incident Investigations that involve PSM or RMP
listed chemicals and processes, performs root cause analysis/PHA's,
and helps develop action plans that will prevent
recurrences.Continue to develop, update, and maintain corporate PSM
and RMP programs that comply with changing federal, state, and
local regulations.ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Conduct monthly
environmental inspections and update all required records.Develop
and maintain a pressure vessel database, ensure that inspections
are conducted on a timely basis, and maintain current operating
permits.Engineering or BS Degree or equivalent experience.Minimum
five years experience in ammonia refrigeration including mechanical
integrity functions and SOP development.RETA CIRO
certification.Strong oral and written communications skills and the
ability to work in both individual and team work settings with
minimum supervision.3 to 5 -years maintenance supervisory
experience, in a production environment.Project management, project
development skills and experience.
