With 17 original equipment (OE) manufacturers as customers
Pana-Pacific provides services to approximately 2,500 OE dealers,
over 40 OE part distribution centers and thousands of CV fleet
companies. At any given time, there are over 2,000 unique OEM part
numbers in stock and available for shipment from Pana-Pacific's
warehouse facility in Fresno, California.PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF
POSITION:Under limited supervision, perform standard accounting
clerical duties in the area of accounts receivable.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible to post daily cash receipts
including ACH payments, wires, checks and credit cards.Collection
functions and account reconciliation for all assigned
accounts.Create payment remittance application details and A/R
adjustments for all assigned accounts.Research and analyze any
problems / variances on all assigned accounts.Maintain credit
application log as well as Non-AR Cash receipts detail log.Setup,
update, and maintain information on customer accounts in JDE &
Salesforce software. Setup new Telematics & Geotab customers and
assist with the collections of the telematics accounts.Review all
credit memos generated by Pana Pacific for errors / validity and
distribute to customers accordingly.Obtain debit memo copies from
assigned customers when requested.Review sales orders on credit
hold and release as appropriate.Create debit memos from daily
receipts.Respond to all customer inquiries, requests, and
discrepancies in timely manner.Capture credit card payments and
maintain credit card daily log.Create invoices and credits when
necessary.Follow ISO and all other applicable procedures and
company policies.All other work as assigned by supervisor /
manager.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:Strong math aptitude and
ability to work accurately and with numbers.Experience with JD
Edwards system preferred.Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and MS
Word3 years + experience in high volume accounts receivable
position.Ability to communicate with customers by e-mail and
telephone in a professional manner.Must have high attention to
detail.Strong organizational skillsHigh School Diploma or GED
equivalent required, college level accounting classes or Accounting
Degree preferred.3 years + experience with spreadsheets and
automated accounting systemsAbility to sort, check, count, and
verify numbers.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work
efficiently.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here
