The Data Analyst is responsible for delivering data analytics and metrics reporting in support of the bank's core and related third-party systems. Primary responsibilities will include data gathering, data analysis, and presenting meaningful insights and findings to business partners and stakeholders. This role will evolve from metrics reporting to analytics to data science Essential Duties

• Data-driven, analytical mindset and approach to problem-solving
• Proficiency with big data, including coding skills using multiple common data science tools (eg SAS, SQL, Python, R, Matlab, Jupiter, Tableau)
• Experience with large data sets to develop statistical relationships and models and or advance analytics knowledge (data mining, statistics, trend and pattern identification, etc.)
• Intellectual curiosity with the ability to learn and explore new data and analytical concepts
• Highly organized with close attention to detail.
• Proven history of being a team player working in a collaborative environment; comfortable engaging with team members
• Demonstrated ability to drive action and sustain momentum to achieve results

  Requirements:
  
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or higher. Combination of professional experience acceptable.
  • 2-3 years of SQL queries and data analysis required.
  • Data science expertise.
  • Strong relationship management and communications (written and verbal) skills.
  • Exposure to Data Management and Application concepts.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and process management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.
  • Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
