PHARMACY TECHNICIAN / CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVESummaryOur client is looking for a Licensed Pharmacy Technician that will be able to provide pharmacy, client, and member support for all accounts maintaining high standard for excellent customer service.PHARMACY TECHNICIAN / CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVEJob Details

  • Type: Full-Time
  • Length: Temp to Permanent
  • Hours: Monday - Friday & 1 Saturday a Month / 5am-2pm or 7am-4pm (Depending on Pharmacy Needs)
  • License Requirements: Active CA Pharmacy Technician License Required
  • Interviews: Being conducted after the holidayPHARMACY TECHNICIAN / CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVERole and Responsibilities
    • Receives calls from pharmacies, clients, and members and provides the requested information or support while following companies policies and procedures for release of information
    • Troubleshoots pharmacy claims submission and documents calls in ticketing system
    • Understands pharmacy benefit plans and how to access the plan information, as well as how to communicate this information to members accurately
    • Escalates incoming customer service calls when needed to the appropriate party for resolution
    • Assist with keeping the pharmacy outreach queues up to date
    • Provides cross department support with projects as needed
    • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions for this position.

      • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
      • CA Pharmacy Technician License (PTCB Is not required, but preferred)
      • Minimum of 1 year working in a Pharmacy Call Center, OR 2 years working in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
      • Proficient in MS Office Suites - Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
      • Previous experience in insurance, pharmacy and / or healthcare preferred.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
      • Excellent customer service skills to maintain high standard of member service
