with the project counsel, reviews all new contracts and change
orders for projects in order to assess risk, ensure proper
drafting, provide contracting and claims support on any issues
confronting the project, focusing on owner and subcontractor
disputes, change management, and insurance claims, advise project
leadership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate, advise, and provide contract support for the
construction team to ensure prompt processing of amendments and
change orders as well as ensure contract compliance.
- Assist in the resolution of contract change orders, owner
directed changes, dispute resolution, and provide claims and
litigation support.
- Coordinate and co-draft project correspondence.
- Review project reports for sufficient and appropriate
language.
- Identify and report contract deficiencies and defects to
management and the legal department

- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree - MBA/JD preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in contract claims review.
- 2+ years in the Construction Industry.
- Heavy civil construction experience preferred.
