Description : The Construction Coordinator supports project managers and team members in the field throughout project life cycles. Responsibilities include a wide range of administrative duties, such as:
--- Completing customer contracts.
--- Collaborating with subcontractors to meet requirements.
--- Meeting customer schedules and project deadlines.
--- Successfully manages multiple projects at a given time.
--- Other administrative duties as needed, including answering phones and processing purchase orders.
Qualifications :
--- Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of commercial construction.
--- Must be able to operate a computer with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
--- Critically important: must be comfortable learning new software and be able to trouble shoot/problem solve.
--- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills in English.
--- Effectively manages multiple priorities and independently gathers and compiles reports and correspondence.
--- Must have excellent time management skills and be well organized.
--- Takes initiative and successfully works independently without continuous supervision.
--- Is able to act and respond calmly in high-intensity situations.
--- Ideal candidates will be pleasant, have a positive attitude, and have strong customer service skills.
--- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance.
Work Environment: - This position does NOT require field work or travel and tends to be fast-paced.
This position would require sitting for prolonged periods of time at desk in front of computer.
Hours : The regular hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Typical work days are week days, Monday through Friday; evenings and weekends as needed. Hours may vary due to needs of the department.
Experience : At least two years office experience with contractor and coordinating multi-site projects.
Hourly Rate : $18.00-$20.00, based on knowledge and experience.
Terms : This is a full-time, non-exempt, benefits-eligible position. We offer a very competitive compensation package which includes a competitive hourly rate, medical insurance and 401(k) plan.
Compensation will be based upon experience, work ethic and availability.
