is a full-time salaried exempt member of the People Team (with
KILLER benefits), reporting to our Executive Director, People &
Development.NETAFIM USA, the industry leader in drip irrigation
products, is currently recruiting for a Payroll & Benefits
Administrator. This position is responsible for accurately
processing payroll, ensuring the company complies with federal,
state and local laws related to payroll and effectively manages
open enrollment processes and benefits. The qualifying candidate
must demonstrate their ability to consistently maintain a high
level of focused activity and consistently strive to achieve higher
levels of performance and efficiency. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES -
Processes payroll transactions including salaries, benefits,
garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. - Ensures accurate and
timely processing of payroll updates including new hires,
terminations, and changes to pay rates. - Maintains or oversees the
maintenance of employee records. - Ensures compliance with federal,
state, and local payroll, wages, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to
auditors. - Identifies and recommends updates to payroll software,
systems, and procedures. - Ensures the accuracy of all benefit
enrollments in the HRIS system to provide vendors with accurate
eligibility information. - Assists with new-hire orientations. -
Performs quality checks of benefits-related data. - Assists
employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes. -
Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines
eligibility. - Enrolls employees with carriers and processes life
status changes. - Responds to benefits inquiries from employees on
plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other
general inquiries. - Effectively understands how protective leaves
such as FMLA, CFRA, ADA and California PSL affect payroll. -
Responds to 401(k) inquiries from employees relating to
enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. - Manages open
enrollment process. - Effective Benefits administration with
in-depth knowledge of our benefits policies - Review monthly
invoices and works with vendors to keep all information accurate
and up to date. - Review and responds to unemployment claims and
employment verifications with appropriate documentation. - Provides
necessary reports for allocation/billing charges; Creates new
reports as needed. - Performs other duties as
assigned.Requirements:PROFICIENCIES - 3-5 years of experience in
Manufacturing, Production or related Operations environment
preferred - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business
Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred;
Experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted
for education - Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work
with people at all levels of an organization - Ability to achieve
results while working with diverse personality types and styles,
both internal and external - Ability to collaborate effectively
with national and global colleagues in matrixed organization -
Superb organizational and time-management skills - Ability to
perform job functions accurately and with great attention to detail
- High level of skill in handling sensitive and confidential
situations/information with the demonstrated ability to maintain
strict confidentiality - Proficiency in Paylocity preferred; or
other enterprise HR/payroll systems - Compensation analysis
experience a plus - Strong reporting skills - Hold themselves to
