We have an immediate opening for a Machinist in our Kerman branch. Perfect candidate is proficient with the use of all machine shop equipment: lathe, mill, press and drill press.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proficient with all machine shop equipment, manual (no CNC)
Minimum 3 years experience operating lathes and all standard machine shop equipment
Understand the use of micrometers and Vernier calipers
Ability to read, analyze and implement documented instructions
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

Machine well pump parts as needed per specifications
Inspect all shop equipment to ensure proper operation and arrange periodic service or repairs as necessary
Always wear applicable PPE clothing and/or equipment
Supervise and/or assist with assembly or disassembly of water well pumps
Assist shop supervisor with scheduling workload and workflow to complete projects in the required time frames.
Maintain clean and safe work environment
