Program is a Permanent Supportive Housing program which houses 26
families. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development and the County of Fresno. The program is
designed to permanently house homeless families with at least one
applicant experiencing a disability and homelessness (per HUD's

Services Provider reports to the Program Director and is
responsible for the provision of life skills training and
assistance and monitoring of clients in a permanent supportive
housing facility for families with barriers to
independence.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide supervision and
monitoring of residents.Ensure that residents comply with
schedules.Make written notes to document client behavior as per
contract requirements for the program.Provide client
transportation.Answer the telephone and the door/gate.Provide life
skills training and assistance to residents.Perform other resident
monitoring activities.Perform some filing and other general office
duties.Perform routine maintenance duties as needed.Perform limited
residential client assistance functions.Maintain a clean work area
and facility including the grounds; report any areas in need of
repair or maintenance to the Program Director.Light maintenance and
repairs of apartments.Handle furniture (moving, assembling, storing
and maintaining furniture inventory).Think and act quickly and
efficiently in emergencies.May drive on Agency business.Ability to
work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as requested.Comply with
all Turning Point Safety policies and procedures, including but not
limited to: workplace safety, reporting work related injuries,
Infection Control and preventing potential safety risks for staff,
clients and others.Punctual and regular attendance is an essential
responsibility of each employee at Turning Point. Employees are
expected to report to work as scheduled, on time and prepared to
start working. Employees also are expected to remain at work for
their entire work schedule. Late arrival, early departure or other
absences from scheduled hours are disruptive and must be

without notice.ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or
equivalent.Two (2) years supervision experience or equivalent
education/experience substitute.Current certified training in
emergency first aid procedures preferred.Detect and report resident
rule violations as they occur.Visually observe residents.Work
effectively and professionally with program clients and co-workers
- this includes clients with alcohol/drug or mental health problems
and children.Ability to communicate effectively in written and
spoken English.Legibly, accurately and appropriately document
communications, behaviors and routine facility events as they
occur.Count and record census in the log if required.Perform
routine inspection of facility grounds.Regularly observe the
apartment grounds for the safety of children and adultsAbility to
work overtime as required.Ability to work in an environment where
there are children of all ages and maintain a safe
environment.Basic to Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft
Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and
other communication/meeting platforms.Possess a valid driver's
license and have access to a dependable means of transportation
that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws.
Agency insurer authorization is required.Ability to pass a criminal
background check.Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug
screen, general physical, and TB test.COVID19 vaccination required
prior to employment.Must maintain good relationships with current,
future and past employees, co-workers, vendors, third party
administrators, and others with whom the Agency is transacting
business, and relate to them in a professional manner.
