About the team: Insights from data power most decisions at Robinhood. The People Analytics team uses data from various sources to drive recommendations across the full life cycle of candidates and employees. We're looking for a Researcher to evolve our employee and candidate listening strategy and surface insights that help optimize the experience of our people.What you'll do day-to-day:Apply expertise in measurement, research methods, and analytics to manage how we listen, effectively interpret results, and translate insights into actionsManage a dynamic and holistic sensing portfolio including candidate experience, onboarding, engagement, pulse, leader effectiveness, and exit surveys as well as focus groupsPartner with leadership to define measurement strategies (e.g., survey item selection) appropriate to evaluating success on high-visibility initiativesPartner with our Data Management and Governance Leader to ensure access to results are aligned with defined access modelsPartner with our Business Intelligence & Consulting Leader to ensure consistency with our broader suite of People Analytics dashboardsSupport hypothesis testing and advanced analytics projects driven within our Research & Data Science pillarCommunicate technical concepts and statistical analyses, along with implications, to various audiencesStay up to date on best practices, scientific findings, and case studies in the realm of employee listeningAbout you:PhD with 2+ years of experience or MS with 4+ years of experience in a research role emphasizing people research in organizations (e.g., Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Labor Economics, Management, etc.)2+ years of experience conducting quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods people research in an organization or consulting environment, including working with stakeholders to understand and clarify their research needs, and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiencesExperience managing and analyzing structured and unstructured data using tools such as SQL, R or PythonExpert in psychometrics, with ability to independently perform EFA and CFA to develop new instrumentation and validate the integrity of multi-dimensional constructs2+ years of experience applying multivariate statistical methods such as GLM, analysis of quasi-experimental research designs with non-equivalent groups, longitudinal analysis, classification, dimension reduction, clustering, survival analysis, hierarchical linear (random effects) modeling, etc., to people research problems in organizationsExperience with lifecycle survey management, connecting the dots across moments that matterExperience driving innovative continuous listening approaches, including survey design and analysisExperience conducting empirical research and consulting on practical and data-based interventions, with knowledge of best practices in at least two of the following areas: employee engagement, performance management, diversity and inclusion, management development, leadership development, learning and development, compensation, or retentionStrong consultative skills, partnering with stakeholders to define requirements, facilitate communications and training, and package and present findings to executive-level audiencesComfortable operating in ambiguous, evolving circumstancesSafety first mindset in handling highly sensitive people dataWillingness and ability to be a utility player, diving in to support the diverse analytical needs coming from our partnersBonus points:Working with QualtricsExperience working in a fast-paced, high-growth tech companyWe are excited to share that Robinhood is a primarily remote company!
