Job Description:
Excellent Opportunity to work for growing Fresno company.
Seeking an experienced Buyer/Purchasing Specialist responsible for
the purchase of materials, equipment, and supplies. Ideal
candidates will have 5 to 7 years of experience working as a buyer
in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with a degree of
technical knowledge (preferred experience using JD Edwards and
working knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning methods) along
with the ability to demonstrate initiative and independent
judgment. Keys to success are exceptional interpersonal skills with
ability to use a high degree of diplomacy. The ability to negotiate
prices, write and research proposals, and issue bid requests and
