Job Description Payroll SpecialistFast growing company in Fresno is looking for a Payroll Specialist with experience in high-volume, weekly payroll.--The ideal candidate would be detail oriented, organized and have full-cycle payroll processing.Additional responsibilities for Payroll Specialist include:* Perform daily payroll department operations* Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely* Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports* Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits* Process correct garnishment calculations and complianceJob Requirements:Job Requirements - Payroll SpecialistThe--ideal Payroll Specialist candidate will have professional communication skills for client and--employee contact related to payroll duties.Requirements for--Payroll Specialist include:* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role* Experience and understanding of payroll liabilities. * Knowledge of California State Laws is a must* Multi state payroll knowledge is a bonus* High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred* Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable * Position involves entire process of payroll, not just data entryAdditional Qualifications for--Payroll Specialist include:* Typing skills 50 WPM, 10-key skills* Intermediate in Excel, excellent verbal and written communication* Bilingual preferred* Experience in A/P and A/R a bonus
