Community is expanding its footprint and that affords you many possible positions within one health system, four hospitals, multiple outpatient centers, and ongoing expansions. You may find yourself a member of any of these teams:

• The only area hospital with a destination therapy certification for Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) patients and certification for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) patients.
• The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CPCU), the largest inpatient unit in our Community Regional Medical Center containing 64 beds.
• The 60-beds-and-expanding Clovis Community Medical Center CPCU.
• Or the 24-bed unit caring for pre- and post-open heart surgery patients, stable LVAD patients and post Cath Lab interventional patients at Fresno Heart & Surgical. Nurse:patient ratios are generally 1:3 or 1:4 depending on the acuity of the patient. These are team environments looking for self-driven, highly-detailed nurses, who communicate well. Qualifications: Experience and education minimum requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.Licenses and certifications minimum requirements
    • Current RN license for the state of California.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
    • Electrocardiogram (EKG) Analysis Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job. Have questions?
