Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Attorney for an Expungement
Program.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing client expungement motions for compliance with District
of Columbia rules
Conducting client interviews and determining eligibility
Drafting, preparing, and filing relevant motions for
expungement
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of District of Columbia expungement rules
Criminal litigation experience and/or public defender
experience
Experience representing individuals from diverse backgrounds and
marginalized communities
Must be a member of the District of Columbia bar
Ability to work remotely on a contract basis for 3-6 months
