Range: $3,770 - $4,167 per month Full classification Salary Range:
$3,470 - $6,681 per month This is a full-time (equivalent to 40
hours per week), probationary, non-exempt position. Multiple
positions may be filled through this recruitment. The CSU system
provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical,
dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public
Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and
14 paid holidays a year. Eligible employees are also able to

benefit information can be found here.Job SummaryThe Enterprise
Applications Programmer/Analyst works under the general supervision
of the Director of Enterprise Applications and Web Systems in
Technology Services Division. The Applications Programmer/Analyst
is a member of a work group supporting Student Information System
(SIS) and administrative applications for California State
University, Fresno. This position provides direct technical support
to campus usage of the PeopleSoft Student Systems, My Fresno State
Portal and other Enterprise Application tools with a degree of
autonomy, ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness. The scope of
duties includes gathering users' needs, preparing various
statistical and user reports using query and programming tools, QA,
testing application code and creating full user and system
documentation.Key Qualifications Capable of maintaining effective
working relationships with others Excellent analytical,
communication and writing skills General understanding of systems
and applications needs analysis to assess user needs and able to
communicate technology systems and solutions to business customers
Relevant or recent experience that demonstrates competence in
systems analysis and applications programming Strong customer
service and can-do attitude with enthusiasm for working in a
collaborative team-oriented environment Ability to perform
interactive debugging to test and analyze program failures Creative
problem solving / strategic thinking skills to improve processes
and solve complex problems Understanding of best practice coding
techniques and testing skills Possess analytical skills, debugging
techniques and root cause analysis skills Ability to handle
multiple tasks and priorities, take initiative, and work well under
pressure Must be flexible and able to work in a team environment
Desire and willingness to learn and implement new technologies
Familiarity or experienced in writing SQL statements, preferably
