The Payroll, Compensation and Benefits Specialist is an integral
part of the execution of several HR plans and programs. Handles all
payroll and compensation activities for the company. This includes
processing bi-weekly payroll, and all supporting activities.
Responsible for benefit program administration, doing behind the
scenes work related to enrollment, billing, payments and deductions
for company benefit plans. Administers the company 401k and Profit
sharing plans. Maintains employee data and information and
extracts, analyzes and reports on HR and compensation matters.
Supports employees and provides resources to them. Additional
administrative duties to support human resources correspondence,
documentation and compliance efforts.
3-5 years of Payroll/Accounting experience required
College degree in a related field preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Adept at problem-solving, able to identify issues, resolve problems
in a timely manner and make effective decisions
Strong analytical abilities: Able to effectively read and interpret
information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner and
skillfully gather and analyze information
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and
