The Opportunity Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for Banquet Captains to join our team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Banquet Captain you will be leading the food and beverage team during events while delivering the highest quality of service to our guests.Some locations may implement a vaccination requirement in the future if required by federal, state, or local law. Responsibilities

• Train, schedule and supervise banquet associates.
• Conduct daily function meetings with banquet managers and associates before events.
• Ensure all company policies,service procedures and safety standards are followed.
• Maintain communication with both the banquet and kitchen team to ensure guests receive the best quality service and experience.
• Other duties assigned.Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a supervisory position.
  • Excellent customer service and employee relations skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math and counting skills are required.
  • Valid California Drivers License required.
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is required within 30 days of employment. Physical Requirements
    • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to stand or walk for 8 hour shifts.
