Job DescriptionSalary: You'll never cold call in this position, in fact, we don't sell anything at all! We are looking for friendly, detail-oriented people who can help business owners across California support their local governments.. If you join us, you will be part of a carefully trained team. You will be expected to develop excellent customer service skills. We want people who will treat people like people, not objects and who are willing to learn and improve. Our company is over 35 years old and this work has been growing fast for the past seven years. We're hiring about a dozen people in this position right now. This is a year-round job, with health benefits, with the potential for promotion and growth, if you are looking for a career. We are growing very fast now due to the pandemic's impact on municipal budgets. And we need intelligent people who want to help make a difference. You'll work for one division of our company, based in Fresno, CA with about 50 employees. Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from business owners
  • Research problems/questions and get callers helped
  • Process inbound letters and forms
  • Put notes into our computer system
  • Call business owners back to give them the answers they requested Job Requirements
    • Strong and consistent work ethic - working hard without a lot of supervision
    • The ability to work with a team and be a self-starter
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Effective communication – both verbal and written; stay professional even when callers may be upset
    • Learn to use our software system and know some Microsoft Office programs
    • Positive attitude and outlook; respectful at all times
    • Ability to work effectively in teams
    • Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese is a big plus Benefits
