Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Echo Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n Echo Technologist - Echo Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Day shift position /n• Must be proficient in all cardiac scans, including contrast (Lumason) studies /n• Must be proficient in scanning all abdomen, OB, small parts, and vascular /n• Requires minimum two years acute care experience /n• Perform all functions necessary for competent operation of sonography equipment /n• Conduct general, vascular, and cardiac diagnostic medical sonography procedures /n• Requires completion of American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) approved course in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International certificate (CCI) /n• Prefer minimum two years experience in sonography specialty area /n• Must demonstrate coaching and training skills with proven communication and guest relations skills /n/n Facility: /n This community hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services to the local region, featuring a modern diagnostic imaging department equipped with advanced ultrasound and echocardiography technology.
