As a Palliative Nurse Practitioner in our hospice program, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and families through challenging times, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This part-time travel position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining control over your schedule. Required Skills: Valid NP licensure with current certification Pediatric experience (PEDS) is essential Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of palliative care Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities Ability to perform face-to-face evaluations and provide home visits Familiarity with Medicare recertification processes Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Nice to Have Skills: Experience in inpatient rounding or working within SNF or care facilities Knowledge of hospice regulations and guidelines Bilingual abilities or additional language skills Prior experience with telehealth or remote patient management Preferred Education and Experience: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing At least 2 years of experience in hospice, palliative, or pediatric care Previous experience in a home health or travel nursing role Other Requirements: Willingness to travel within the Fresno area for patient visits Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling, including full or half days Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven organization that values your expertise and flexibility.
