Fresno, Community Regional is the flagship hospital of the region
and home to the only Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and
Sacramento. As an RN ECMO Specialist in our 24-bed ICU, you'll
provide advanced, high-acuity care for the Central Valley's most
critically ill patients — including those requiring Extracorporeal
Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). Manage ECMO circuits and related
critical-care technologies, ensuring continuous, safe operation and
monitoring of all system parameters. Collaborate closely with
physicians, Respiratory Care Practitioners, Perfusionists, and
multidisciplinary ICU teams to develop and execute individualized
care plans. Care for post-open-heart and complex critical-care
patients, managing extracorporeal and hemodynamic support devices.
Contribute to ongoing quality improvement, staff education, and
protocol development to advance ECMO practice standards and patient

Experience Bachelor's Degree or higher in a healthcare-related
field OR maintains national certification related to nursing
specialty required Healthcare-related degrees may be subject to
approval by the ACNO/CNO group prior to approval Completion of ECMO
Management training course with documented necessary skills as an
ECMO Specialist that is validated by the Medical Director within
180 days of hire or transfer into position required Completion of
training on CRRT, balloon pumps, and Impella within 180 days of
hire or transfer into position required 6 months of open heart
experience required Consistent demonstration of proficient clinical
nursing practice proficiency required Experience in critical care,
with at least one year of ECMO experience required Licenses and
Certifications RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to
work within the state of California required BLS - Current Basic
Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart
Association (AHA) required NATIONAL - National Certification
related to specialty and applicable to role (if qualifying with
