UCSF Fresno and Central California Faculty Medical Group, dba Inspire Health are recruiting for two academic faculty positions in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (formerly known as FPMRS). Responsibilities will include direct patient care including URPS procedures, teaching and supervising students and residents, and research and quality improvement appropriate to professional training, capabilities, and career goals. This position will provide the opportunity to work with an underserved patient population as the only URPS provider seeing MediCal patients in the region. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Administrative/leadership opportunities may be available and the opportunity to maintain obstetrical experience is available (but not required) through Labor and Delivery coverage both during the day or overnight on-call. UCSF Fresno, a regional campus of the University of California, San Francisco, features eight independent residency programs, seventeen fellowship programs and is a major teaching site for UCSF medical students. Our resident clinic is based in a federally qualified health center where 80% of our patients rely on state funded insurance and 10% are uninsured. Our goal is to recruit physicians who want to provide care and address health inequities in the San Joaquin Valley.
