Responsibilities: Located at Community Regional Medical Center — home to the region’s only Level I Trauma Center — our Leon S. Peters Burn Center is the only around-the-clock, ABA-verified Burn Center between Sacramento and Los Angeles. This 10-bed unit delivers specialized care for both pediatric and adult patients, ranging from mild scald burns and skin grafts to high-acuity trauma cases. With a collaborative, evidence-based approach, the Burn Center plays a vital role in the continuum of care for patients across the Central Valley.
