Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technician Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist Certifications: - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA) - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Must-Have: - Knowledge of Angioplasty, Stent, Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, Rotablator, Pacemaker/ICDs, Scrubbing, and Hemodynamics - On-call availability required at minimum one night a week and one weekend every three weeks with a response time of 30 minutes Job Description: - Work as part of the Cath Lab Team alongside proceduralists to perform interventional procedures - Operate medical imaging equipment including single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiographic equipment, ultrasound, and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) - Assist with device management during procedures - Experience with additional procedures such as oEP, Watchman, and TAVR is a plus
