Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) RN to join our growing team! In your role, you'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with a close-knit team while providing care to Cardiac patients with various medical comorbidities. As part of the largest inpatient unit in our hospital, with 64 monitored beds, and a patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 (depending on acuity), you will be integral to the continuum of care for our medical telemetry patients. Responsibilities:
In your role, you will:

• Collect and analyze comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation to determine the diagnosis.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate a plan in a timely manner that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes in a safe environment. Provide appropriate health education to patients and others as appropriate.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes which systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and patient Safety.
• Attain knowledge and competencies that reflect current nursing practice and evaluate own nursing practice in -relation to professional practice standards and guidelines.
  Qualifications:
  Education
  --- Graduate of approved nursing program required
  --- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  Experience
  --- Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required
  Licenses and Certifications
  --- RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
  --- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
