Overview:

Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers - a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Responsibilities:
Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is adding additional positions to the Registered Nurse Float Team. Our focus is to deliver high quality patient care throughout CMC on diverse Units such as Med Surg, Ortho, Cardiac, Pediatrics, Rehab, Neuro, ED, Burn, Progressive Care and ICU. The Float Team conducts patient focused care through excellent critical thinking, communication, clinical judgment and collaboration as a member of the multidisciplinary team. The role is conducive to individuals who are easily adaptable, enjoy life-long learning, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will be prepared to float to any department where you have achieved validated competency. The Float Team ensures your competency by providing education throughout the year in areas such as emergency, progressive care, critical care, and med/surg. Your assignments will change on a daily basis to promote learning and foster diversity in your nursing skill set. Float Team scheduling remains flexible to promote higher education achievement and an optimal work-life balance. Qualifications:
Education
--- Graduate of approved nursing program required
--- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience
--- Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required

Licenses and Certifications
--- RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
--- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
