Community Regional Medical Center is the largest of our three main hospitals and the flagship hospital of the Central Valley. This academic-affiliated, Level 1 Trauma Center features one of the largest and busiest emergency departments in California as well as a comprehensive burn center.Responsibilities:We are looking for a skilled Crisis RN, also known as a Facility Resource RN to join our downtown Fresno campus Emergency Response team! As part of our Level I Trauma Center, and largest of three acute care hospitals, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with medical staff and physicians in a fast-paced environment, providing emergency comprehensive critical care, including trauma, neurological, cardiac, and more. Demonstrating extensive clinical knowledge through evidence-based practice, there will be constant opportunities to mentor staff members and provide unit-based education and support on processes - key to the continuum of care of Valley patients.Qualifications:Education & Experience

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in Nursing to qualify for state licensure required
• One of the following is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Achieves and maintains National Certification related to specialty
  • 2 years of nursing experience of which at least 1 year in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care unit required
  • Experience with Definity administration, I/O access, Mediport access, Ultrasound for PIV placement and basic LVAD Management preferred
    
    Licenses and Certifications
    
    • RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
    • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
    • PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification (CCMC and CRMC only) required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
