Overview:\n*All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CA*We are
looking for a Supervisor of Radiation Oncology to join our growing
Cancer Institute team! In your role, you will be responsible for
leading and reviewing the progress and accuracy of both work and
staffing levels, all the while providing guidance on any complex
issues that may arise. In addition, you will assist with
appropriate radiation therapy treatments, develop department
policies/procedures, and work closely with the Chief Physicist -
ensuring an optimum level of care and service. This means working
with a large scope of practice while also being part of a team that
values collaboration.Clovis Community Medical Center opened at its
current location as a 109-bed hospital in 1988. Since then, there's

Opportunity. Challenge. Growth.\nResponsibilities:\nIn your role,
you will:Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation
of department goals, objectives, policies and procedures which
contribute to the achievement of department objectives and reflect
medical and technological advances and changes in Radiation
Oncology.Ensure continuity of quality patient care by planning
staff assignments, through evaluation of census, patient
satisfaction, cost effectiveness and compliance with fiscal
budget.Assist Director in the development, implementation and
ongoing evaluation of performance improvement/risk
management/safety/Quality Assurance programs and keep unit survey
ready and up-to-date on regulatory standards.Perform the duties of
a Radiation Therapist and demonstrates competencies in all areas of
treatment and simulation as staffing levels require.Maintain a
clear understanding of Radiation Oncology billing procedures.
Review and process charges as needed. Assist in the establishment
of billing/charge procedures as technology programs are
implemented.Evaluate staff development needs and provide ongoing
educational opportunities for professional development. Act as a
mentor/point of contact for staff members. Stay current with the
latest clinical/technological advances and share knowledge with
staff as appropriate.Qualifications:\nEducationGraduate of an ARRT
and/or State of California approved program/school of Radiologic
Technology requiredAssociate's Degree preferredExperience5 years of
experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist required1 year of
experience in a lead therapy role requiredChargemaster/coding
experience preferredLicenses and CertificationsCRT - State of
California Certified Radiologic Technologist requiredARRT(T) - ARRT
Radiation Therapy requiredBLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
required
