Performance is measured by the ability to achieve established outreach and census targets. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Development, the Business Development Specialist must work well independently as well as an integral part of the larger team.Achieving Census Targets with IntegrityProvide new, innovative ideas for business development and executing company strategies as directed by leadershipContact all local (as defined by leadership) referral opportunities and promulgate business and servicesManage client expectations through accurate education of services and processesCreate service-oriented presentations for educating community partners and referral sourcesExecute census objectives via phone, personal, email or other electronic contact methodsManage client accounts with feedback, recording, reporting and timelinessSearch, locate, contact and follow-up with new contact/referral leadsSchedule, attend and complete business and one-on-one meetings with prospective referral sources, business managers, office managers, business owners, medical providers and/or clientsAttend assigned networking events, collecting market information, organizing feedback reports for presentation to company leadershipAppointment scheduling, preparation, and presentation to clientsGenerate new leads to create more repeat referral sources to increase revenueInterpersonal CommunicationMotivate team members to exceed expected goalsWork closely with the designated clinicians and program leads to strategize more effective program dissemination methodsBuild trust through honest communication and delivering accurate throughput processes to ensure long-term relationships with clients/customersMake ethical, professional decisions in a fast-paced environment to promote business strategy as defined by company directorsCultivate positive interactions/relationships with client representatives, team leaders, managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and resultsNetworking with a purposeNetworking with hospitals, psychiatrists, therapists, and treatment centersAdministrativeCreate, maintain and deliver BD material for greatest possible business and service exposure to the communityMaintain consistent, timely and responsive communication methods with company leadership and lead sourcesMaintain positive and professional attitude and demeanor in all interactions with team members, leadership, lead sources and prospective/current clients.Order and track new, approved BD material for field disseminationProvide timeframes for company strategic, operational and tactical deliverables and meet reporting and/or recording timelinesManage records of referrals, contacts and follow-up processesInput all referral contacts (new and existing) for the week in the CRM by the end of day, each Friday. Schedule task follow up for each contact made.CRM management and usage. Analyze referral and admissions data and develop strategic marketing plans based on current and historical dataStrategicWhen appropriate, provide innovative, creative and unique business development ideas and strategies to leadership level (and, in some cases, to our human resources team)Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build company loyaltyResearch market and industry trends to provide future strategy, planning, action and execution for business growthIdentify services that would appeal to community and potential new clientsProvide consistent feedback on client engagement and action planning for follow-upAny additional duties as assigned by supervisor or company leadershipCOMPETENCIESProven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar sales-generating roleHands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold callsTrack record of achieving sales quotasExperience with CRM software desired (e.g. Salesforce)Familiarity with MS Excel & ability to analyze data, spreadsheets, and chartsUnderstanding of sales performance metricsExcellent written & verbal communication and negotiation skillsAbility to deliver engaging presentations and build rapportBS degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field desiredPOSITION REQUIREMENTSObtain a health clearance form from a medical provider.Obtain a negative tuberculosis screening.Valid Driver's License.Ability to lift/carry 20 pounds.Ability to engage in frequent computer work.PI185371341SDL2017
