This and other physician assistant jobs brought to you by DocCafe.com Cardiac Surgery Group located in Fresno, California is growing and hiring an experienced cardiothoracic surgery physician assistant for their cardiothoracic surgery practice! This is a tight-knit group who have worked together for many years!The position will be 70% Operating Room Responsibilities, however, will include a full practice scope; perioperative patient care, assisting with ICU management, first-assisting in the operating room, consults, discharge summaries, and share rotating on-call coverage from home.We will consider candidates with cardiothoracic surgery or cardiology experience to join an existing team of 2 PAs and one NP.We are seeking applicants with a minimum of 1-2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience. Applicants must have a current or be eligible for a California license. Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and first-assisting experience are important.Excellent compensation & benefits package includes:
