RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES1. Draft quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with CARF/CCL standards.-- Develop individual policies and procedures for CARF Manual.-- Develop specific policies and procedures to fit handbooks (staff, client, etc.)2. Interpret and implement quality assurance standards.-- Collect documentation of policies and procedures (minutes, reports, outcome measures, trainings)-- Follow up with proper personnel to gather documentation in a timely manner.3. Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards and revise when necessary.4. Devise procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.5. Plan, conduct and monitor data collection tools and instruments to ensure fidelity and appropriateness for the target population.6. Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.-- Audits for binders, minutes, reports, trainings etc.7. Investigate non-conformance issues.-- Ensure that policies and procedures are being followed on all levels.8. Collect and compile statistical quality data.9. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system10. develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions11. Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.12. Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.13. Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by regulatory and funding agencies.14. Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.15. Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.16. Additional duties as assigned.EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-ExemptSUPERVISOR---S TITLE: Executive DirectorWORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Hours vary based off need

  • A Master's degree in behavioral science from an accredited college or university, plus two years of employment as a social worker/case manager, in an agency serving children or in a residential congregate care program for children with Two years of Mental Health experience, or have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, four years of mental health experience, plus at least three years administrative experience or supervisory experience over social work, direct care and/or support staff providing direct services to children in an agency or working in a community care facility with a licensed capacity of seven or more.
    • Must have recent work experience working in the compliance field for 2 or more years, training and experience working with CARF, STRTP, Mental Health, state and local entities.
      • Obtain Department of Justice fingerprint criminal record clearance and Child Abuse Index Check clearance. Any person willfully making any false representation as being a Direct Support Staff is guilty of a misdemeanor.
        • Two years--- experience in a group home or short-term residential therapeutic program performing those duties specified in Section 87065.2(c).
          • Prior to assuming the duties and responsibilities of the position, the individual shall complete a minimum of one hour of training as specified in Section 87065.1(a), in addition to the training required in Sections 87065.1(c) and (d).
            • Employees shall be at least 21 years of age. Have a valid California driver---s license and provide a safe driving record quarterly to the HR department.
              • Have a current chest X-Ray or TB test / medical exam.
                • Must have a current First Aid and CPR certification.REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: None.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Staff members will work in a residential environment with youth. Travel may be required as needed for appointments and activities.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly walk, stand or stoop; occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and regularly drives a motor vehicle.WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an office or other environmentally controlled room; Work exposes incumbent to contagious or infectious diseases; Work may expose incumbent to dangerous and volatile situations; which could result in bodily injury.
                  SALARY: Salary will be individualized based on education and experience.
