This exciting role will provide you the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects, from residential and commercial buildings to bridges and other infrastructures. You will be involved in all stages of the project, from conceptual design through to completion, ensuring that all structures are safe, stable and meet the necessary design requirements. This position is best suited for a forward-thinking individual who is ready to take their career to the next level within the engineering industry.Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and calculations for various structures, ensuring they comply with design specifications, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software to create detailed structural designs and plans.
• Develop and review design models and drawings for a variety of structures including buildings, bridges, towers, and foundations.
• Perform design work for new projects, extensions, renovations, alterations and repairs.
• Collaborate with architects, construction project managers, and other engineers to understand and integrate their design requirements into comprehensive structural plans.
• Contribute to the planning, design and overseeing the construction of new buildings and bridges, and the alteration and extension of existing properties or other structures.
• Carry out inspections of buildings and structures, and prepare reports on findings.
• Oversee and inspect the work of junior engineers and provide them with professional guidance.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and technology in structural engineering and use this knowledge to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of designs.Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering. A Master's Degree will be considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building and bridge design.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other structural design and analysis software.
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction materials such as concrete and steel, and of the structural design of different types of structures, including buildings, bridges, and foundations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, construction managers, and other engineers.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
