seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our
thriving food processing plant. This is a permanent position that
offers an exciting opportunity to lead our maintenance team in
ensuring that our manufacturing equipment and facilities are always
in optimal condition. The successful candidate will be responsible
for managing all aspects of the maintenance process, overseeing the
repair and upkeep of all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic
systems. The Maintenance Manager will play a pivotal role in
ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and
efficiently, contributing significantly to our overall productivity
and success. Responsibilities: Develop, implement and manage a
robust preventive maintenance program that ensures all equipment is
in good working order and meets all safety standards. Diagnose and
repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, utilizing your expertise in
these areas to minimize downtime and maintain high levels of
productivity. Oversee and manage the use of our Computerized
Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software, ensuring that all
maintenance activities are accurately logged and tracked. Lead and
manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and
support to ensure that all team members are able to perform their
duties effectively. Implement and enforce strict adherence to
safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, to
ensure the safety of all team members. Ensure compliance with all
relevant health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous
improvement in our maintenance processes, identifying opportunities
for efficiency and cost savings. Manage the maintenance budget,
ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively. Work
closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities
and ensure that all equipment and facilities are ready for
production as needed. Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years of
experience in a maintenance management role within a manufacturing
environment. Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMP), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and food safety
standards. Proven experience with diagnosing and repairing
hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in using CMMS
software. Familiarity with LOTO procedures and a strong commitment
to safety. Experience with electrical troubleshooting and
preventive maintenance. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong budgeting skills
and experience managing a maintenance budget. Familiarity with
health and safety regulations, including OSHA compliance. Excellent
leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving
skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
Experience with maintenance planning and the ability to coordinate
