About the Role: The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage general ledger activities and month-end/year-end close processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Support internal and external audits Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes Mentor and guide junior accounting staff Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or agricultural setting Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
