Cost Accountant Full Time l Onsite l Tulare County Our client, a growing and dynamic company in the agriculture industry, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team in Tulare County. Compensation & Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage with option to add dependents 401(k) plan with company match to help plan for your future Great vacation package with an additional week of sick pay compensation Onsite amenities as part of employee perks Opportunities for career growth within a rapidly expanding company Key Responsibilities: Analyze cost variances, production costs, and gross margins Maintain and update standard cost systems and inventory valuation methods Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries Prepare and review financial statements, forecasts, and budgets Monitor compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls Provide financial insights to support operations, production, and leadership teams Assist with audits and special financial projects Identify and implement process improvements in accounting operations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3 years of progressive accounting experience Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills LI-TM7
