We are a growing firm seeking a career-minded Staff Auditor. The Staff Auditor positionsoffers a tremendous degree of variety in a challenging work environment.Necessary Skills to Apply:- Execute day to day activities of audit engagement of clients- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners as wellas manage assigned tasks- Client interaction to ensure efficient information flows from client to auditing team- Provide high quality, professional day to day expectations of audit engagements and projectsin line with firm expectations- Develop audit programs, working papers, and audit reports- Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans for clients- Help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and communicate findingsto client management.- Help keep the team on task and work within set deadlines- Prepare compiled, reviewed and audited work papers and financial statements- Assist on consulting projectsQualifications to Apply:- Minimum of 2 years recent public accounting experience.- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited 4-year University.- Strong knowledge and experience of audits- Apply working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) andaccounting procedures- Licensed CPA or CPA candidate.- Demonstrated supervisory experience- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be a self-starter.- Good communication and computer skills.- Working knowledge of the following programs: Excel, Word, Tax Software, and ThomsonReuters Creative Solutions Suite (desired).Benefits offered:- Competitive salary for the Fresno area- 9/80 flex schedule during the summer (3 day weekends every other week)- Insurance:o Medical, vision, dental, Aflac, long-term disability and life- Benefit Plans:o Cafeteria 125 planAudit Senior, Audit Engagements, Communication, GAAP Accounting, Work Papers, Compilation, Analyze Financial Statements, Compile DataRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
