Job Description:

The Redwoods In Yosemite seeks a full-time Senior Accountant.
Most of the workload is based out of our Oakhurst office. The position offers a benefits package.
The applicant should be a multitasker with great communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and juggle concurrent demands. The applicant would need to work accurately with close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality. We are a vacation management company with relationships with homeowners, online booking companies (i.e., etc.), travel agents and vendors.
The ideal candidate would have 5+ years in the field of accounting and be expected to be proficient in the following programs:

• Microsoft Office
• Google Workspace
• QuickBooks
• Streamline Vacation Rental Software (not a requirement)
  Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Management of General Accounting function
  • Develop accounting organizational strategies by contributing to accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction.
  • Completion of month end procedures.
  • Reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.
  • Bank reconciliations of multiple accounts.
  • Future Forecasts.
  • Depreciation schedules.
  • Capital Expenditures.
  • Prepaid analysis.
  • Payroll analysis.
  • Worker's Compensation reconciliations.
  • Employee Benefits.
  • Insurance renewals.
  • Monthly Occupancy tax filings.
  • Quarterly Sales Tax Filing.
  • Business tax filings.
  • Contribute to development of yearly budget.
  • Year end 1099's & 1099 NEC's
  • Facilitate Year end Audit.
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
